After a giddy Monday, I've been completely sapped of energy for the past 2 days. I felt like a zombie walking to work Tuesday morning. Even just walking my 9 short block commute was a struggle. I felt like I was getting sick and ended up skipping lunch that day. Right after what time I was supposed to have my normal lunch I had a meeting with my mentor to go over my progress so far.

Today started off yesterday as I got a rejuvenating 0 hours of sleep. Believe it or not, I was actually in a pretty good mood regardless of it. I was dancing around to some nostalgic 80's songs while getting ready for the day at 5:30 am whereas I can barely drag myself out of bed before 9:30 normally. I figured, hey well if I can't get any sleep, I might as well make myself useful and get going early.

It was another hackathon of one last night as I tried to get more accomplished on the project. Supposedly this project is too big to finish by the end of the internship but I'm hoping to get a significant amount done and documented. I'm less stressed now because I thought I was supposed to be done with it by then end. That's the norm anyway.

It was another productive day at the office as I got another large changelist submitted. This was the very first one I ever made over a month ago and it was finally approved after many tweaks, so I was pretty excited. This was my first CL to be reviewed and approved by people from another team. Now that I've got several CLs checked in, I'm feeling a little less stressed. Still there's much work to be done.

I finally got more code checked into the codebase today right before heading out for the night. It's been frustrating since I felt like I was spinning my wheels for so long without cranking out any submitted changelists since I was back in Mountain View a month ago. The internship is officially halfway over but I don't feel like I have much submitted code to show for it. Then again I did have to learn C++ and how to actually develop code here before really getting started, but still....
